Reconfigurable Computing (RC) is an interesting paradigm that allows one to dynamically modify or configure hardware itself, to suite the algorithm or application providing very fast results compared to a purely software based approach. C-DAC, through its continuous research in the field of High Performance Computing (HPC), is one of the pioneering organizations that brings RC technology in the country through its innovative design & development of the latest hardware, system software, and hardware libraries that enable application acceleration. C-DAC's RC solution consumes just around 25 Watts of power, an amount substantially low compared to other technologies for application acceleration. It also requires very little space.
A high performance indigenous SAN developed by CDAC. Based on Neo (CCP-3) Network Co-processor, Packet Routing Switch and VIPL based Software Stack. Deployed in PARAM Padma as a primary interconnect. PARAMNet-3 deployed in PARAM Yuva. Also supplied as an integrated component in HPC business solutions by C-DAC.
