Supply Chain Management

The objective of every supply chain is to maximize the overall value generated by an enterprise. It consists of all stages involved, directly or indirectly, in fulfilling a customer request. The management of an enterprise often finds itself caught between customers’ mounting demands and company’s need for growth and profitability. Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an art as well as a science that involves the management of flow between and among stages in a supply chain to maximize profitability. This phenomenon has particular relevance in the Indian Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) sector, which is being forced to perform or perish in the face of global competition.

C-DAC Hyderabad, partnering with IIIT, Hyderabad, has developed a software solution that would help manage the flow of material and information across the supply chain. The solution is aimed at serving the needs of the SME sector. The developed solution is generic. It can be customized as per the requirements of the particular industry.

To bring Small & Medium Enterprises together to understand and know the importance of Supply Chain Management, to see the solutions suitable to SME sector and to share the experts’ view on SCM.

Fees

The registration fees is 1000/- in the form of a Demand Draft in favour of “C-DAC, Hyderabad” payable at Hyderabad, drawn on any nationalised bank towards meeting incidental expenses and background material.
No entry fees for the participants from SMEs, registered through SISI, Hyderabad.
